Auto China 2026 Media Registration Notice

Dear Journalists,


Auto China 2026 will take place at China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi) and Capital International Exhibition Center of China from April 24th to May 3rd. Press Day are scheduled for April 24th and 25th. We extend a warm welcome to your coverage this year. To facilitate your attendance, please carefully read the following Media Registration Rules and Regulations.
1. Online Registration Only 

All journalists are required to register online. On-site registration is not available. Phone call or e-mail applications will not be accepted.

2. Online Registration

– Registration Period: From now until April 25th, 2026 (12:00 GMT+8:00).

– WeChat Official Account

– Please complete the registration before visiting the exhibition.

3. Real Name Authentication

Journalists must register using real names. Acceptable identification includes: 

– National ID (for mainland journalists)

– Passport

– Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents

– Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents

Please ensure all information is accurate and upload the required documents.

4. Valid Information

All fields must be completed with genuine and valid information to ensure timely communication and successful registration.

After review, the approval result will be sent via email. Please ensure the email address provided is valid and accessible to receive result.

5. Media E-Badge (for registration via official website)

Upon approval, a verification code will be sent via email. Once the code is entered on the registration page, a valid Media E-Badge will be generated. You may present either a printed copy or a screenshot of the E-Badge for entry throughout the entire exhibition period (April 24-May 3, 2026).

6. Media QR Code (for registration via WeChat Official Account)

Upon approval, a dedicated Media QR Code will be displayed on the media registration page within the WeChat Official Account. You may present the QR Code for entry throughout the entire exhibition period (April 24-May 3, 2026).

7. Media Badges

Physical media badges can be collected on-site at the designated location. (Location: Outside the Main Entrance of the East Registration Hall, Capital International Exhibition Center of China). Please note that these badges serve only for security check access and do not guarantee final admission. Entry will be denied if presented without the corresponding E-Badge/QR Code.

8. Valid Verification

All journalists must enter the exhibition with valid verification. The organizers reserve the right to refuse entry if the presented identification does not match the registered individual, or if there are inconsistencies with the media registration information.

9. Eligibility for Media Registration

1) Press Cards Holders:

Those who possess press cards issued by the General Administration of Press and Publications of China (with 2026 verification mark).

2) Holders of certificates for Print Media Obtaining ISSN issued by the same authority.

3) Overseas Journalists Residing in China

Those who hold a press card issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China; Chinese employees of foreign news agencies are required to provide certification.

4) Overseas Journalists for Short-Term News Coverage

Hold a valid passport and J-2 visa.

5) Journalists from Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR and Taiwan 

Hold a press card issued by the All China Journalists Association.

6) Radio/TV Reporters and Production Organizations

Hold a valid staff ID and official  letter of assignment from the media organization (original copy required).

7) Website Journalists

Work for an affiliated websites of print media and publishing houses, or other relative websites with a dedicated Auto China 2026 channel.

8) Freelancers, Editors, and Photographers

Authorized by Legally Registered Publishing Houses or Photo Agencies , and must present an original assignment letter from the affiliated media organizations for on-site reporting. Certificates from Advertising or PR agencies are not acceptable.

9) Media Invited by Auto Exhibitors 

– Must present the original invitation listing the name of the invited correspondent.

– If invitations are sent via email, the exhibitor must submit a full list of invited media to the organizer in advance.

– Lists submitted by Advertising & PR agencies are not acceptable.

10) New media platform journalists

Must provide links or screenshots of previously published automotive-related content as proof of coverage.

Note:

– Applications Not Meeting the Above Criteria will not be granted media registration. You are welcome to attend the event as visitors.

– Applicants must scan and upload at least one of the above supporting documents. The organizer reserves the right to evaluate all applications based on the above criteria and to make the final decision on acceptance or rejection.

– The organizers reserve the right to amend and update this notice as necessary. Media registration shall be governed by the most current version. The organizers reserve the right of final interpretation over media registration, credential issuance, and related rules.

10.  On-site Media Badge Collection

Please note that these badges serve only for security check access and do not guarantee final admission. Entry will be denied if presented without the corresponding E-Badge/Media QR Code.

11. Post-Event Coverage Submission

During and after the exhibition, accredited journalists are kindly requested to submit links or screenshots of their published coverage related to Auto China 2026 via the link provided in their media registration approval email. This submitted content will serve as a necessary reference for media accreditation for the next Auto China.
